SERVING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
Serving Veterans and Their Families in any and every capacity is of upmost importance to everyone involved with Run Down The Demons®. Emphasis is placed on mental health concerns relating to Veterans that are returning home from combat, transitioning out of the military, and/or suffering from negative experiences endured while serving in the military.
BRINGING THE PIECES TOGETHER.
For more than 100 years, women have fought side by side with their male counterparts in every war. Given the void in female-veteran care and counseling, the 8-week Peace & Tranquility Yoga Series for Women Veterans program is designed to help female-veterans focus on peace, tranquility, and compassion while giving them the tools to live a happier life.
CREATING CHANGE IN NEW WAYS.
In early 2017, our organization set forth a 24-month fundraising campaign to fund the Advanced Certificate in Serving Veterans and Their Families (Online) program at The Ohio State University College of Social Work. This initiative provides practitioners from around the nation with the tools to identify resources for Veterans within their respective communities.
